Overnight & Weekend Dog Care in West Auckland

Going away for a weekend, a wedding or a work trip? Your dog stays overnight with the team they already know — same people, same routine, same daily adventure, just with sleepovers. No concrete runs, no unfamiliar kennels: a real home, their own bed, and their usual two-hour excursion every day they’re with us.

A home from home, not a kennel

Boarding kennels mean concrete runs, unfamiliar smells and dozens of other dogs barking all night. Here, your dog stays in a real home with people they have met and trusted on their adventure walks — and heads out on their usual two-hour excursion on our 40 acres in Oratia every day.

The first rule of a good stay is that everything smells, feels and sounds like your dog’s normal life. They bring their own food and their own bed, we keep their feeding schedule exactly as you run it, and the humans on duty are the same people who collect them every week. For most dogs it is simply a sleepover with the pack leader — with other pack friends coming and going through the day.

What's included in every stay

How a stay works

Book a meet & greet

We visit your home, meet your dog and answer every question — free, 30 minutes, no commitment.

A day adventure first

If your dog is new, we start with their usual two-hour excursion so the first sleepover happens with friends they already know.

The stay

Your dog moves in with their bed and food, keeps their daily adventure, and settles into the evening routine like one of the family.

Home again

We return your dog washed, walked and wonderfully tired — with a full report and all the photos.

Who overnight care suits

Weekends away, weddings, school holidays, a flight you can’t change — life doesn’t pause for dogs, and kennels aren’t the only answer. Overnight care suits dogs who find kennels stressful: seniors who need their sofa time, anxious dogs who need familiar humans, and multi-dog households who don’t want to be separated.

It also suits owners who want more than supervision. Your dog doesn’t just get housed — they get their normal exercise, their normal routine and a house full of people who genuinely enjoy their company. Most dogs are asleep in the car before we reach the top of the drive on the way home.

Simple, honest pricing

Overnight care is quoted per stay, so the rate matches your dog and your dates.
